The title kinda sums it up does it? We set out to raise enough money to produce a book and some card decks, but with your help we've created so much more. You've helped us to enhance the content, expand our customer base, and grow our business. Thank you.

Due to the amount of funding we will be bringing on more writers to help out with this and other projects. Stay tuned for regular updates with our progress. In the mean time enjoy yourselves in your various adventures!

Dungeon of Doom Treacherous Trap Compendium!
over 5 years ago – Tue, Jan 29, 2019 at 08:21:39 AM

Hi All,

As we head into the final 24 hours of the campaign I thought you'd like to know that Stefan from Dwarven Forge and I have been conspiring in dimply lit rooms. As with most of the game publishers in the RPG community; Dwarven Forge and Nord Games are friends. We have been wanting to work together on something really cool for a while now, and with Treacherous Traps we have finally found the perfect collaboration. Here's what we came up with:

The Treacherous Traps Compendium by Nord Games is designed to be a companion to the incredible Dungeon of Doom terrain line from Dwarven Forge! The Compendium offers a selection of alternative builds for each Dungeon of Doom encounter, along with a collection of unique traps, quest hooks, and suggested uses to cut down on prep time and keep the party on their toes with unspeakable dangers awaiting them around every turn!

This will be released as PDF only, and we're making it free for all Treacherous Traps Kickstarter backers. We recommend using the Dungeon of Doom terrain for maximum effect, but top down dungeon layouts will be in the PDF if you prefer to use gridmaps and draw the dungeon yourself. Truly and excellent tool and a wonderful collaboration!

We only have hours remaining before this campaign ends. Make sure you throw one last post up on your social media, email a link to your buddies, and text everyone in your phone!

Thank you again for your support! We couldn't do it without you!

The Final 4 Hours!
over 5 years ago – Mon, Jan 28, 2019 at 01:29:17 PM

Hi All,

this has been an incredible experience. Every Kickstarter is a roller coaster of excitement, but this one in particular has been an especially wild ride! We've never funded so much so quickly on the first day, and then gone on to have so many backers and such a huge total funding amount.

We have just 4 hours left and right now we're soaring past $156,000 and there's no sign of things slowing down! Wow! That's all I can say! If you happen to have a moment to post one last link on your social media and/or send a few emails, that would be much appreciated.

Again, thank you, thank you, thank you! We couldn't do this without you! Now let's sit back and see where this project goes! Get the popcorn!

The Final 36 Hours!
over 5 years ago – Wed, Jan 23, 2019 at 12:01:26 PM

Hi All,

We're down the final 36... err, 34 hours as of posting this update. Our funding thus far has been incredible and we're so thankful to all of you for backing our project!

More Stretch Goals? There is a very real possibility that we pass our $150,000 stretch goal. We feel that all of the stretch goals we've listed add useful content to the book, or the theme in the case of the adventure modules. With this in mind we're contemplating giving a bonus to the writers and development team using the funds above and beyond $150,000. We've done this in the past and you all seemed pretty stoked about it.

Secret Stretch Goal. While the project continues to break our personal records, I've had a secret goal in mind this entire time. It's not a funding goal, but rather a number of backers goal. In order to grow our business we need to continue producing awesome products as well as expand our fan base. I set a goal of 3,000 backers in my mind from the beginning of the project based on our next highest backer number of 2,673 during the Spectacular Settlements campaign. If we make it to that goal (regardless of our total funding), I'd like to reward all of our backers with something awesome. I have a few ideas, but I'd like to hear from you.

Regardless of where we end up in funding or in backers, we are so excited to have such awesome fans who bring so much momentum to these projects! Please make sure to remind your friends one more time about the project and its end date & time. We have a lot of advertising and marketing channels of our own going right now, but the real powerhouse of backers comes from you all. Keep up the good work!

Happy Gaming!
